Description

Recovery from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic and the reconstruction of an economic system that guarantees global stability constitute the great undertaking of the coming years. Faced with a difficult scenario, characterized by great challenges, the scarcity of resources and the fragility of institutions, this document analyzes the new government structures that the public and private sectors apply in regional agriculture to manage agro-chains and rural territories. . Along with analyzing some good practices in terms of agricultural policies and technological innovation, the authors make a conceptual reflection on the coordination processes of actors in the rural sector and on the design of new investment programs in lagging territories, in which the poorest population and most vulnerable to climate change.
